Lab Tours

National brain tumour research funding needs to increase to £30-35 million a year

Get up close and personal to the research at one of our Centres of Excellence, and hear about the latest ground-breaking research updates first-hand from our expert world-class scientists.

Lab tours are usually a mix of presentations about the research, followed by a walk through the facilities, where our scientists will introduce you to various aspects of their work and how they are looking at ways to fight this devastating disease.

You can ask questions about the research and understand how the work being undertaken is getting us closer to a cure.

Our lab tours are popular and it's inspiring to see how people leave with so much new knowledge and passion to redouble their fundraising efforts. And it's a privilege for our Researchers to meet our dedicated supporters.

The schedule below shows you current lab tour dates but do bear in mind places at these events are limited.

Please note: due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 and the related restrictions, we have postponed the lab tours which were scheduled to take place.  When lab tours are able to resume we will publish updates here and contact individual supporters who were booked onto the postponed tours to rebook and assist supporters with new bookings as appropriate.

Take a virtual walk around our Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at The University of Plymouth.

You can now take a tour of one of the labs from the comfort of your home.
